Happy as Dynamite

I just met a girl; she is such a pretty creature
I’m gonna have another drink; I’m going out to find a preacher
I took her out for a date, she said the movie was great,
I took her to dinner and she cleared her plate,
I think I could love her,

One more day and one more night, everything is gonna be so right
I’m as happy as dynamite, she could be my fire

I took her out for a soda pop,
we started dancing and we couldn’t stop
the jukebox played 'At The Hop' over and over
we went out for a ride, took a road up a mountainside,
just kept tumbling down all night, over and over

One more day and one more night, everything is gonna be so right
I’m as happy as dynamite, she could be my fire

Tonight I'm listening to Muddy Waters,
I'm leaving in the morning,
And like he says I ain't nothing but trouble,
and I won't be home again,
I'm leaving and that's for sure, aint coming back, no
headed back down to the South, woman don’t you want to go
I can’t sing the blues, maybe I forgot how to,
maybe my guitar’s not true, or maybe I’m in love again.

One more day and one more night, everything is gonna be so right
I’m as happy as dynamite, she could be my fire
